Robotic process automation (or RPA) is a form of automation that uses software tools to mimic a user working on applications or on artificial intelligence (AI)/digital workers.
the modern tools in RPA emulates as if the user is actually performing these tasks themselves on a computer screen. tasks vary from simple data entry to data scrapping from web and to more complex tasks such as forwarding an email based on certain work conditions.
RPA tools have strong technical similarities to graphical user interface testing tools. These tools also automate interactions with the GUI, and often do so by repeating a set of demonstration actions performed by a user. RPA tools differ from such systems that allow data to be handled in and between multiple applications, for instance, receiving email containing an invoice, extracting the data, and then typing that into a bookkeeping system.
In this section, we will be exploring UiPath, an automation software that has a community edition which is free to use for a learning user and helps in understanding the RPA from basic to advanced with absolute no knowledge of any programming language.
